If you are among the first in your family to go to college did you know that people want to give you money to enroll and succeed in college?  Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz and Sallie Mae Fund are just a few who offer these kinds of scholarships.  Be sure to check the financial aid office of your college or the guidance department at your school.  The Sallie Mae Fund has several scholarships due April 15th and into May.  Check it out here:

P.S.  the Mercedes Benz scholarship applications have closed for this year but you should know that in 2005, they received 2,000 applications and distributed 500 scholarships.  Those are very good odds!  That means that 1 in 4 applicants won.  Think about that the next time you need motivation.
